The SkyPod system allows for deployment of the SkyCase systems, with magnetic mount antennas, in remote locations. You can deploy the system and the satellite antenna remains off the ground. You no longer need put it on the roof of the vehicle, that might drive off. No worries about rain puddling, while the antenna is on the ground, the SkyPod System will keep the antenna safe. The system maintains visibility of the antenna, to help avoid it being run over, tripped over, or stepped on while deployed.

 

Includes: Heavy-Duty Tripod, Antenna Plate Assembly, Ground Screw Stake, Bungee Cord, Bubble Level, Leg Restraint Kit, PLUS a Handy Carry Bag, to store it all.

Selecting the correct tripod for your needs is very important.

This tripod will support all MSAT G2 and SkyCase satellite antennas with a maximum weight of 35 lbs. This tripod was made to our specifications by CST/Berger, a leading manufacturer of industrial tripods and surveying equipment. Each leg adjusts in length, individually, making it easy to level the tripod's mounting platform using the circular bubble level supplied. The tripod is securely anchored with the tie-down stake and heavy-duty bungee cord supplied, or you may use any of the alternate methods suggested in the instructions.

When folded, the tripod is quite compact and measures 38"X6"X6". It opens to a minimum height of 34" or a maximum height of 61" (with a normal 32" leg spread). The legs can be extended with a wider stance for greater stability in high-wind areas.
